The main set for Game of Thrones is Titanic Studios in Belfast. But don't panic! There are also various locations you can visit around Northern Ireland. See the home of the Castle Black set at Magheramorne Quarry, the Tourney of the Hand at Shane's Castle and, of course, King's Road.

The beautiful UNESCO City Walls of Dubrovnik can been seen in many episodes of Game of Thrones, but sites across the city have also been used! Check out Fort Lovrijenac, used particularly in the opening of Season 2, and Lokrum Island which is also a popular tourist destination for locals.

Filming mainly centred around the town of Mdina, but the most famous set is the Azure Window on the Maltese island of Gozo. The coastal feature collapsed in a storm at the beginning of 2017, but it's still a beautiful area and well worth a visit to the wedding site of Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen.
