Things to do in Dubrovnik
Great city walls
The city was surrounded by city walls from the 7th century to protect the city from enemies. These city walls are still there and have been restored. If you are on the high wall, you will have a beautiful view of the city and the sea.
The synagogue
In Dubrovnik you can visit a very small synagogue, with access to the Jewish museum. This synagogue was built in the 14th and 15th centuries and is the second oldest in Europe!
Outside the city walls
There is also a lot to see and do outside the city walls. Or of course you can lie on the perfect beaches which are famous in Croatia. This is an ideal city where you can also enjoy watching the sunset on the beach.
Tasting wine
If you go outside the city walls, you won't immediately find the vineyards. But to have a really nice experience, go on a day trip to the island of Peljesac Peninsula. Here you will discover in one day everything the island has to offer: nature, local fish and the best wine in Croatia! In the afternoon you can visit an ancient wine farm where you will learn about the specail wines.
